After releasing what we think is a potential ‘album of the decade’ Mississippi born John Murry makes his Brighton debut to perform tracks off his sensational ‘The Graceless Age’ album released earlier this year to huge critical acclaim. Recorded in San Francisco with the help of the sadly now departed Tim Mooney (American Music Club), the album took four years to make and plays out like a road trip from drug hell to personal redemption. Sonically startling and gloriously realised The Graceless Age is one of those albums that stays with you long after the needle has been lifted. A modern day masterpiece!!

Support comes from the wonderful Danny George Wilson, head honcho of live favourites Danny And The Champions Of The World and now defunct alt country pioneers Grand Drive.

If you are a band or agent looking for gigs please contact me on either the email in the contacts or on the facebook link. I generally concentrate on Americana, folk and Alternative country but i’m only a tiny, solo promoter and i don’t book shows every night of the week so please do not be offended if i can’t help you out. I will always reply to you though and will forward onto you other promoters i know in town who may be able to help. 

Past gigs i’ve booked include Sam Baker, Charlie Parr, Diana Jones, Danny Schmidt, Serious Sam Barrett, Luke Doucet, Ben Rogers, Justin Rutledge, Gregory Alan Isakov, The Deep Dark Woods, The Arlenes, The Lucky Strikes, Israel Nash Gripka as well as loads of others so this may give you some idea of the kind of bands i look to book to play.

2012 has been a great year with some great gigs as well as some other great promoters in town putting on some great shows for y’all.
